SC Pesticide Exam Prep Course/Exam Combo - Retirement of SC Core Exam

The exam prep course will cover the core manual (Applying Pesticides Correctly) and Category 6 (Right of Way Pest Control) manual to prepare the participants to take the certification exams. The exam(s) will be administered by the Department of Pesticide Regulation on Wednesday, October 7, 2026.

Tuesday, October 6, 2026 Exam Prep Course from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm (lunch provided)
Wednesday, October 7, 2026 Department of Pesticide Regulation Paper Exam Session 9:00 am - 12:00 pm (register for the applicable exams)
**Please note this is the last opportunity to take the paper Core and Category 6 Exams. SC has adopted the National Pesticide Applicator Core Exam and the old exams will be retired on October 15, 2026
***Testing will be limited to Core and Category 6 Exams ONLY

Monday, January 23, 2023: The course will cover the core manual and Category 6 (R/W) to prepare the participant to take the certification exam(s) the following day.

Tuesday, January 24, 2023: The CORE Exam is a 70-question multiple choice test for basic knowledge for licensing all pesticide applicators in South Carolina.
