The exam prep course (Wednesday, February 3, 2021) will cover the core manual (Category CORE Applying Pesticides Correctly) and Category 6 (Right of Way Pest Control) manual to prepare the participants to take the certification exams. A full day in the virtual classroom will cover pesticide labels, environmental factors, knowledge of pesticides and pest, pesticide laws, pesticide equipment and application techniques, and safe pesticide use. Participants are responsible for ordering their own study materials and should read both study guides before attending the review session.  Exam study materials are NOT covered in the cost of this course. Manuals can be ordered in advance through the Clemson Department of Pesticide Regulation's website:

For this course, participants will need a Category CORE: Applying Pesticides Correctly - $25 and Category 6 Right-of-Way Pest Control - $5. Participants MUST have a CORE and Category 6 Manual prior to joining the webinar.

Individuals who already possess a SC Pesticide Applicator's license may also register for and participate in this webinar to receive continuing education credits. SCVMA has applied for CEU's from the Department of Pesticide Regulation and will post those once approved by the department.
