February 2020 SC Pesticide Applicator Exam Prep Course
The exam prep course will cover the core manual (Applying Pesticides Correctly) and Category 6 (Right of Way Pest Control) manual to prepare the participants to take the certification exams. The exam(s) will be administered by the Department of Pesticide Regulation on the following day, Feb. 4th.

About the event
The exam prep course (Monday, February 4, 2020) will cover the core manual (Category CORE Applying Pesticides Correctly) and Category 6 (Right of Way Pest Control) manual to prepare the participants to take the certification exams. A full day in the classroom will cover pesticide labels, environmental factors, knowledge of pesticides and pest, pesticide laws, pesticide equipment and application techniques, and safe pesticide use. Participants are responsible for ordering their own study materials and should read both study guides before attending the review session. Exam study materials are NOT covered in the cost of this course. Manuals can be ordered in advance through the Clemson Department of Pesticide Regulation's website:
(http://www.clemson.edu/public/regulatory/pesticide-regulation/). Select "Exam Information", then "Order Study Material". For this course, participants will need a Category CORE: Applying Pesticides Correctly - $25 and Category 6 Right-of-Way Pest Control - $5.
The South Carolina Pesticide Applicator Exams will be administered by the Department of Pesticide Regulation on the following day (Tuesday, February 5, 2020). Department of Pesticide Regulation will administer the Core Exam and Category Exams. Participants MUST register separately for the exam session.
